Discover how even the bones and muscles that give us strength and speed depend on many types of cells. Throughout the book you will learn things to do to keep your body healthy - though in our fallen, cursed world things are bound to break down through diseases or injuries.

Your body is built from many kinds of cells and tissues, and you will learn how they work. Even the bones and muscles that give you strength and speed depend on many types of cells. This book will:
  • Show you the ins and outs of the bones in your skeleton and how they function
  • Give detail as to how your marvelous muscles move you
  • Provide a detailed glossary in the back for quick reference!
As our journey through the human body progresses, it is evident that this marvelous structure did not arise by chance. Teens will understand why God inspired the Psalm writer to say that the human body is "fearfully and wonderfully made."

My Impressions:

Anatomy and Physiology was one of my favorite classes I took in Middle School, High School and College. I am amazed at how intricate God made us and how strong and fragile our bodies are at the same time.  So I was really excited to see this book up for review.

Within these 112 pages you get a book that is jammed packed with beautiful illustrations, detailed breakdowns of our muscles and skeletal system, coupled with tons of facts and tid bits of not so common known information. This book comes with an excellent glossary in the back, strong thick pages that wont rip easily, biblical references throughout the book. The only thing this book was missing, in my opinion, was a study guide to go along with it or some questions and answers throughout the chapters for kids.

This is an easy book that I can recommend highly for those seeking an excellent, bible based, study of our Musculoskeletal System.
