Animals in the Bible

Proverbs 12:10 tells us, "A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel."

God made the animals, as well as man, on the sixth day of creation. When he was finished, He said that man was to reign over all the animals, fish, and every living creature that He had made. God brought the animals to Adam, and whatever name that Adam gave each animal, that was to be it's name. I think it's safe to assume that God is an animal lover.
